Sisal, with the botanical name Agave sisalana, is a species of Agave native to southern Mexico but widely cultivated and naturalized in many other countries. It yields a stiff fibre used in making various products.
It is sometimes referred to as "sisal hemp"
Sisal Soap Pouch
Simply make a 50/50 vinegar water bath with warm water. Agitate by hand until sisal is free of soap and scent. Dry throughly in open air. Vinegar will also help sanitize it.
